Book review. Do not disturb.
I read all of Frieda's Thai translations. I liked the ending of this book the most.

The story of "Quinn," a young woman who killed her own three men, had to run as far as possible so that she could not be caught. After fleeing a short distance, she had to experience heavy snow, and she decided to turn the car into a motel owned by "Nick Maxter." The motel was very old, and there was a murder case. The circumstances seemed untrustworthy. What would she be like? She would have to follow up in the book.
The plot / storyline is good, fun, easy to read, easy to understand according to Frieda's work style. This story is quite unconventional from every book I've read. It's usually exciting to see what the character will encounter, but this book will hope what the character will do. Because the character is the killer of the husband. The main character is not the killer or the killer, but probably not from the beginning. This makes the book different from the other book and clearly stands out.
The first part goes through Quinn. Read and always want to know where she is going to get away. What will she do to not get caught? There is a little boring when switching to another character with a late flashback near the present. If you read it, you will know where it is. But overall, you can read it and enjoy it.
It's a bit difficult to guess, because the story is quite different from Frieda's other books, and there's nothing more than expected. The points that you can guess are unpredictable. This book has many peak points, many break points, the first one is not very peak, but the last one is very peak.
In the end, after each character has gone through something, there are some very unexpected truths that when I don't think I'm going to come to this wood, I'm going to have to prove it's a beauty in the middle of a bad thing.
This book is in the way that I like to read and feel that it is different from other books. It makes many things difficult to predict. There are a few boring points. The peak point, the breaking point gradually, the peak level goes up and up. The favorite point is the period before the end. It is far beyond expectations. There is a little secretly.
Finally, I would like to confirm that Frieda's work is worth reading.

สำหรับใครที่เป็นแฟนงานของฟรีดา แมกแฟดเดนหรือชื่นชอบนิยายแนวระทึกขวัญ ‘ห้ามรบกวน’ นับว่าเป็นหนังสือที่ไม่ควรพลาดเลยครับ การที่ตัวละครหลักอย่างควินน์เป็นฝ่ายที่ก่อเหตุฆาตกรรมตั้งแต่ต้นเรื่องช่วยเพิ่มความแปลกใหม่และมิติในการเล่าเรื่อง เพราะผู้อ่านไม่ได้ลุ้นแค่สิ่งที่เกิดขึ้นกับเธอเท่านั้น แต่เป็นการคาดเดาว่าเธอจะเลือกทำอะไรต่อไปเพื่อหนีจากความจริงและการถูกจับกุม ในแง่ของบรรยากาศหนังสือ การตั้งฉากในโมเต็ลเก่าที่เคยมีประวัติคดีฆาตกรรม ผนวกกับพายุหิมะที่ทำให้ควินน์ต้องติดอยู่ที่นั่น สร้างความรู้สึกกดดันและตึงเครียดอย่างต่อเนื่อง ซึ่งช่วยเสริมให้เรื่องราวมีความน่าสนใจมากขึ้น อีกทั้งตัวละครเจ้าของโมเต็ลอย่าง “นิก แม็กซ์เตอร์” ก็เพิ่มความคลุมเครือในความปลอดภัยของสถานที่ได้ดี สิ่งที่ประทับใจอีกอย่างคือการเดินเรื่องที่รวดเร็วและชวนให้ติดตาม แม้บางช่วงจะมีการสลับไปยังอดีตของตัวละครอื่น แต่ช่วยทำให้ผู้อ่านเข้าใจภาพรวมของเหตุการณ์และความเชื่อมโยงของคดีฆาตกรรมต่างๆ ได้ชัดเจนขึ้น จุดพีคและจุดหักมุมนั้นเรียงตัวกันอย่างดี ทำให้ผู้อ่านแทบเดาไม่ถูกจนถึงบทสุดท้าย นอกจากนี้ การใช้ธีม ‘ความสวยงามท่ามกลางความเลวร้าย’ เป็นมุมมองที่ทำให้เรื่องราวลึกซึ้งและท้าทายในการคิดตาม นับเป็นนิยายที่ถ่ายทอดทั้งความระทึกขวัญและความซับซ้อนทางอารมณ์ได้อย่างลงตัว โดยสรุปแล้ว ‘ห้ามรบกวน’ ไม่เพียงแต่เป็นนิยายระทึกขวัญที่น่าสนใจและแตกต่างจากผลงานอื่นๆ ของฟรีดา แมกแฟดเดนเท่านั้น แต่ยังเป็นผลงานที่สะท้อนให้เห็นเสน่ห์ของการเล่าเรื่องที่สร้างสรรค์และน่าติดตามอย่างแท้จริง เหมาะสำหรับใครที่กำลังมองหาหนังสือที่จะทำให้คุณลุ้นระทึกและคิดตามจนจบเล่ม
