“No judgment zone — what age did you stop trick-or

For me I believe it was like 13? Idk I know it was before freshman year of high school so maybe 12? I didn’t really miss it though oddly. We did have candy still 🤷🏽‍♀️ I feel you should do it as long as your heart desires. It’s fun and it keeps kids from doing other things. So if teens or even adults knock go head and hand a whooping hand full (or two) of candy their way.

... Read moreHalloween is a cherished tradition that brings joy not only to children but often to teenagers and adults too. The idea of a "no judgment zone" when it comes to trick-or-treating encourages everyone to celebrate in their own way without feeling embarrassed or out of place. Many people choose to stop around early adolescence, around ages 12 or 13, coinciding with middle school or freshman year of high school, as social expectations and self-image begin to shift. However, there is no hard rule—some continue the tradition simply for the fun and nostalgia it offers. Continuing to participate in trick-or-treating past childhood has several benefits. It fosters community spirit, brings people together across different ages, and keeps the festive spirit alive longer. It also provides a safe, enjoyable activity for young people during Halloween night, potentially steering them away from less desirable options. For those handing out candy, welcoming older trick-or-treaters with generous treats helps reinforce a warm, inclusive environment. Parents and communities can support this judgment-free approach by creating events and spaces where everyone feels welcome to celebrate Halloween safely and joyfully. Whether dressing up, sharing candy, or simply enjoying the decorations, the key is to embrace the fun and inclusivity that make Halloween special. Ultimately, the best age to stop trick-or-treating is personal—guided by what feels enjoyable and respectful to the spirit of the holiday. Keep the joy alive, no matter your age!

I think the last time I did was junior year of high school after school with my friends. Honestly the older I get the more fun I think trick or treating is rather than something else on Halloween lol even though I do love a Halloween party
