... Read moreHey everyone! My last post about January touched on some of the amazing blessings I’ve experienced, but I wanted to dive a little deeper into how I’m truly navigating this period of growth and transformation. It's been a journey of not just new experiences, but also profound shifts in mindset and self-care. First off, let’s talk about my CNA journey. Starting school has been incredibly rewarding, and yes, challenging! I remember the moment I received that notification for the 'Caregiver or CNA position' – it felt like a huge step forward. Getting those 'results' back from the first few chapters, seeing those percentages like 96.9% and 94.3%, is such a motivator. It reminds me that hard work pays off. Balancing studies with everything else means embracing a new level of discipline, but I truly believe 'God is about to start opening doors' in this new career path, and it feels right. Then there’s the spiritual side, which has been my anchor. When I talk about having 'less anxiety, less stress,' it’s a direct result of deepening my faith. Nightly Bible study isn't just a routine; it's where I find my peace. The verse from Philippians 4:6-7, 'Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God,' has become my mantra. It's truly transformative to realize that I can 'worry about nothing, pray about everything.' This practice helps me remain thankful for everything, even the things I don't have, because I trust in a bigger plan. Another huge realization this month has been about self-worth and setting boundaries. I’ve been reflecting a lot on what it means to truly care for myself. There’s a powerful quote I encountered: 'People pleasing is the ultimate betrayal to self.' This hit me hard. For too long, I've prioritized giving others what they want, often abandoning what I need. But not anymore. I'm learning that 'this chapter is about me,' and it’s okay to direct that energy inwards. It's about being loyal and faithful to myself first, because if I'm not whole, I can't truly serve others or pursue my goals effectively. And finally, my fitness journey and love for learning with new books are all part of this holistic growth. Hitting the gym 4 days a week isn't just for physical health; it's therapy for my mind. And those new books? They're fueling my mind and helping me grow in ways I never imagined. It’s all interconnected – the physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional. This January has truly been about aligning all these aspects to become the best version of myself, and I’m so grateful to share this journey with you all!
