Dear Diary, I’m Planning a Wedding šŸ’’ šŸ’

Hey everyone! šŸ’› Starting my little corner here with something super close to my heart—wedding planning! Honestly… it’s exciting but also kinda overwhelming šŸ˜… There’s so much to think about—picking a date, finding a venue, figuring out all the tiny details that make the day ours. Even small decisions somehow feel like a big deal!

I’m just at the beginning of this journey, and some days I feel like I have a million thoughts swirling around šŸ˜µā€šŸ’« But I’m trying to take it one step at a time and actually enjoy the process, instead of stressing too much. Sharing my little moments here feels nice—it’s like keeping a diary but also maybe learning from other brides too!

So, fellow Brides of 2026… any tips on where to start? How did you organize your priorities or tackle those first steps? I’d love to hear all your advice šŸ’›

... Read morePlanning a wedding, especially as a bride for 2026, can feel both thrilling and overwhelming. One of the best ways to start is by breaking down the process into manageable steps. Begin with setting a realistic budget, which will guide your decisions regarding the venue, guest list, and vendors. Prioritize what matters most to you and your partner—whether it’s the venue, photography, or catering—and allocate budget accordingly. Finding the ideal venue in Singapore, for example, can set the tone for your entire wedding day. Take the time to visit multiple locations to get a feel of the atmosphere and what each offers. Remember, early booking is crucial as popular venues often get reserved well in advance. Keeping a detailed wedding journal can be incredibly helpful for tracking ideas, appointments, and important decisions. It’s also a wonderful way to capture your personal journey, reflections, and moments of joy. Sharing your experiences and seeking advice within communities like #Bride2026 and #WeddingPlanning can provide support and insider tips from others who are also navigating wedding preparations. Don’t forget to enjoy the process! While some choices seem big, taking one step at a time and celebrating small victories can make the experience less stressful and more memorable. Incorporate personal touches that reflect your story and relationship, making your wedding day truly your own. Lastly, communication with your partner and any involved family members or wedding planners is key to ensure smooth coordination. Embrace flexibility because not everything will go exactly as planned—but that’s part of what makes your wedding day unique and special. By focusing on what truly matters and surrounding yourself with positive support, you can make the journey toward your big day as beautiful as the celebration itself.

Hey girlie!! 2026 bride here too :) You must start off with thinking of the budget & the amount of pax you want to attend to your wedding and then book a VENUE!! Some places are already getting booked for the upcoming year so must quickly book šŸƒā€ā™€ļøšŸƒā€ā™€ļø afterwards if you have a photographer or mua in mind that can be the next thing you can look at as sometimes the ones u are eye-ing on can be booked on the date of your choice (esp those auspicious dates 🫠)
