A cosy restaurant that offers good beef wellington
@3thirtynine is a small bistro located along Jalan Besar. They offer modern western cuisine with some Asian influences. Over here, they also serve alcoholic drinks like alcoholic bubble milk tea.
We tried some of their signatures which include the Beef Wellington. It’s a well-executed dish where the beef was done to a perfect doneness and it remains tender. Their burrata with peppercorn and vinegar dressing is another interesting and appetising dish. It is served with crispy youtiao.
Food in general is decent though their dessert is less appealing in comparison to their savoury dishes which are more unique and appetising.
This restaurant is more suited for date nights. As such, it would be great if they can offer a 3 or 4-course meal.
