Bibik Violet: Another spot for local food
This is one of those restaurants which are popular among the middle-aged group. It was packed to the brim in the afternoon and there was a short lunch queue.
Food was not too bad, similar standard some of the Nanyang-style cafes here in Singapore. But if you asked me, the food at Violet Oon’s restaurant is certainly better.
Portions are on the smaller side. My plate of Ayam berempah Nasi Lemak was already $14.90++. The Kaya toast was alright - nothing to shout about. Besides that, they also offer roti prata, satay, laksa and mee siam.
