Gourmet Indomie
@fangkocoffee a casual cafe that serves Indonesian food, toasts, coffee and desserts. This place gets very pack during lunch hours with the working crowd. We noticed that most people come here either for their Indomie dish or drinks.
Their Indomie is the wet version - it gets super saucy once you mix the poached eggs in. It’s comforting and very savoury. But I personally prefer a drier version of the noodles so that I can enjoy the springiness of the noodles. You can customise the spice levels of the Indomie.
Another standout is surprisingly their toast. It’s really thick and cheesy. It’s topped with an egg and the toast is stuffed with melted cheese and ham.
Their Nasi Lemak Ayam Berempah did not quite hit the spot for us but the blue pea rice was moist and super fragrant. The fried chicken is quite dry for us.
If you are staying for desserts, their tiramisu is worth a try. It’s a well-made tiramisu that is comparable to the ones offered at Italian restaurants. It’s a huge slab and it is good for sharing between 2 to 3 pax.
This cafe is not halal-certified. Dishes contain no pork and no lard. They serve alcoholic drinks.
