Back 13 years ago...Screams have broken the silence in the Seymour Avenue neighborhood, a young woman breaks out a wire-covered door, and tells a neighbor, "She's been confined here for a decade." Between 2002 and 2004, 3 young women - Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus, and Michelle Knight - were kidnapped and confined to a house, just a few miles from where they disappeared; through years of haunting nightmares, they faced terrible physical and mental cruelty.
Until May 6, 2013...
Amanda Berry decided to use force to break down the lower part of the locked door, and ran away successfully with her six-year-old daughter; that fight led to the rescue of two other young women trapped on the second floor of the house, which was filled with fetters and padlocks.

The perpetrator was sentenced to life imprisonment plus an additional 1,000 years, but after just a month, he ended his life in prison, and the authorities smashed the house behind the scene and turned it into a garden to remove any signs of pain from the community.
🌻 A new step in life.
Now they have reclaimed their lives. Michelle Knight, renamed Lily Rose Lee, works as an artist and motivational speaker, and the other two survivors tell stories through letters and create a warm family.
