Russia remains the country with the largest nuclear arsenal in the world, with independent organizations like the Federation of American Scientists (FAS) and SIPRI estimating a total of about 4,300-4,500 nuclear warheads (including active, reserve, and awaiting discharge). ☢️

One of Russia's major projects is the RS-28 Sarmat, also known as the NATO SS-X-30 Satan II, a new intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) that was developed as a replacement for the older R-36M.
