My Daniel fast was hard but I stayed committed . What made it hard was that It wasn’t the same feeling that I got last year , last year I felt energetic, and on fire . This Daniel fast required me to show true patience and faith in God . He called me to pray and pray and pray , wait and be quiet . He showed me the things in my heart that I need to change , it wasn’t aesthetically pleasing it was raw and uncut . I faced Frustration of wanting God to work on my time , and do this and fix that . I learned he works on his own time & it’s always perfect.

This year, with Daniel's fast, I felt more at peace. It was different from the previous years because I was already reading and praying, whereas, in the previous years, I had to remind myself to read and pray. This year, I was doing those things before the fast, so it was more natural.
