Wow, another day, another set of NYT Games conquered! I absolutely love starting my day by tackling these puzzles. It’s such a satisfying feeling to see "PERFECT!" or "SPLENDID" pop up after a tough one. Today’s Strands was a real brain-teaser, but finding that spangram, “that’s wild,” felt like a true victory! If you're often searching for clues or just want to improve your game, especially with Strands, I've picked up a few tricks. My biggest tip for Strands is to not just look for obvious words. Sometimes, the theme is really subtle. I always start by looking for two-letter combinations or common prefixes/suffixes, and then try to build from there. Don’t be afraid to click around randomly a bit; sometimes just highlighting letters can spark an idea. And remember, the spangram usually gives a hint about the overall theme, so if you're stuck, try to guess the theme first. Today I managed it in "3:33," which is pretty good for me. For speed, I always scan for rows, columns, and 3x3 blocks that are almost complete. Filling in those last few numbers often opens up a cascade of possibilities elsewhere. Don't forget the power of 'naked pairs' or 'hidden singles' if you're getting stuck – they are game-changers for difficult puzzles. It's truly satisfying to finish an "easy puzzle with 1 error" or even a hard one perfectly. The key is to patiently eliminate possibilities.
