1. ECT must be guided by a doctor in case of drug treatment and then rarely respond to the drug.
2. The doctor will ask us first if it is okay, because it is a rather risky way, but can allow us to live a more normal life along with taking drugs as well.
3. Abstain from water, abstain from the midnight meal of the day before going to ECT, wash your hair, brush your teeth, bathe first every morning before ECT, cut your nails short, remove all the metal grills.
like the nose, tongue, mouth, navel, etc.
4.After ECT symptoms will feel numb anesthesia because every anesthesia must be placed before ECT to reduce body pain.
5. ECT dance should be taken with you every time because we may blur more or less doping depending on the person.
6. It doesn't take long to do, but it takes time to recover from doping for a while. Do it often. The body gets used to it.
7. Treating this method has worked really well for almost 1 year, but we did it ourselves, this time is heavy, have to repeat the ECT a total of 12 times.

การรักษาซึมเศร้ารุนแรงด้วยวิธี Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) ถือเป็นทางเลือกที่แพทย์แนะนำในกรณีที่การใช้ยาเท่านั้นไม่ตอบสนองเพียงพอ วิธีนี้มีการใช้กระแสไฟฟ้ากระตุ้นสมองภายใต้ภาวะวางยาสลบเพื่อช่วยฟื้นฟูสมดุลสารสื่อประสาทในสมอง ทำให้ผู้ป่วยบางรายสามารถกลับมาใช้ชีวิตได้อย่างปกติมากขึ้น ก่อนเข้ารับการทำ ECT ผู้ป่วยจำเป็นต้องปฏิบัติตามคำแนะนำอย่างเคร่งครัด เช่น งดน้ำและอาหารตั้งแต่เที่ยงคืนของวันก่อนหน้า เพื่อป้องกันอันตรายขณะวางยาสลบ รวมถึงการทำความสะอาดร่างกาย ตัดเล็บ และถอดของมีค่าโลหะทุกชนิด เพื่อความปลอดภัยสูงสุดในระหว่างทำหัตถการ หลังจากทำ ECT ผู้ป่วยอาจมีอาการมึนงงหรือเบลอเนื่องจากผลของยาสลบ ซึ่งอาการดังกล่าวจะค่อย ๆ ดีขึ้นเองภายในเวลาไม่นานและร่างกายจะปรับสภาพเข้ากับการรักษาบ่อยครั้งได้ดีขึ้นอีกทั้งจำเป็นต้องมีคนพาไปและรับกลับหลังการทำ ECT ในแต่ละครั้งเพื่อความปลอดภัย ผลลัพธ์ของการทำ ECT มักเห็นผลในระยะกลางถึงยาว เช่น กว่า 1 ปี โดยในบางกรณีผู้ป่วยอาจต้องกลับมาทำซ้ำเมื่ออาการกลับมาอีกครั้ง ซึ่งแพทย์จะเป็นผู้ประเมินและแนะนำอย่างเหมาะสมตามอาการของแต่ละบุคคล การรับรู้ข้อมูลที่ถูกต้องเกี่ยวกับการรักษาด้วย ECT จะช่วยให้ผู้ป่วยและคนรอบข้างสามารถเตรียมตัว ปรับตัว และมีความหวังในการฟื้นฟูสุขภาพจิตที่ดีขึ้น ทั้งนี้ แนะนำให้ปรึกษาแพทย์ผู้เชี่ยวชาญอย่างใกล้ชิดเพื่อการดูแลรักษาที่ปลอดภัยและเหมาะสมที่สุด
