They work by dissolving the bonds between dead skin cells, allowing them to slough off naturally, without any harsh scrubbing. Start with low concentrations and introduce them slowly into your routine. Always listen to your skin. If something stings, burns, or leaves you red and irritated, it’s a clear sign to stop. Our skin barrier is precious, and protecting it is key to healthy, happy skin. Don't fall for the DIY scrub trap like I did; sometimes, 'natural' isn't always 'better' when it comes to skincare.
