April Reading Wrap Up

April was full of twists, ghosts, and Greek tragedy—and I loved almost every second of it!

Here’s what I read:

1. The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller – I know this is a beloved favorite, but I struggled to stay hooked through the middle. The beginning and end were strong, but overall it just didn’t quite land for me.

2. The Del by S.G. Courtright – A ghost story with a twist! I didn’t see that ending coming (Carson?!) and now I’m begging for a sequel. Highly recommend if you’re into eerie, emotional mysteries.

3. Stillhouse Lake by Rachel Caine – Unputdownable! A woman on the run from her serial killer ex-husband? YES. The suspense was chef’s kiss.

4. Killman Creek by Rachel Caine – Picked this up the second I finished book one and it was just as intense. So fast-paced and addictive.

Overall, April was a win—and May better come with the rest of the Stillhouse series or I’m not emotionally prepared.
