7 Weeks of Consistency Is Starting to Show 🥹

Okayyyyy I see it now. 🥹👏

Week 7 midweek check-in and THIS is exactly why I’m so glad I’ve been taking progress pictures.

Some weeks I couldn’t see a difference. Some days I felt bloated. I’ve taken rest days. I went on vacation. I’ve eaten foods I enjoy. I haven’t done everything perfectly.

But I kept coming back to the habits I said I wanted to build.

And looking at these side by side? My body is changing. I’m feeling stronger. My routine feels more natural. And for the first time in a while, I feel like I’m working WITH my body instead of constantly fighting against it.

Still a lot of this journey left — but today I’m letting myself be really freaking proud of this. 🥹💪✨

... Read moreStarting your own fitness journey can feel overwhelming, but building a solid workout timeline is key to seeing those amazing visible changes, just like I did in my 7 weeks! Crafting Your Personal Workout Timeline When I first started, I didn't have a rigid, perfect plan, and that's okay. The most important thing is to set realistic goals. Think about how many days a week you can commit and for how long. For my timeline, I aimed for 3-4 days of workouts, mixing strength training and some cardio. Don't be afraid to adjust as you go! Life happens – vacations, feeling bloated, or just needing a rest day. The key, as I learned, is getting back to those habits you want to build. Secrets to Sustained Consistency (Even When You Don't Feel Like It) My 7-week journey wasn't about perfection; it was about consistent effort. There were days I really didn't want to work out, but I'd tell myself to just do 15 minutes, and often, I'd end up doing more. Find what you enjoy! If you hate running, don't force yourself. I found joy in lifting weights and feeling my muscles get stronger. This makes sticking to your workout timeline so much easier. Remember, every little bit adds up. It’s better to do something imperfectly than nothing at all. The Undeniable Power of Progress Photos (My Aha! Moment) Like many, I initially doubted the impact of progress photos, but they became my absolute secret weapon. My OCR results clearly showed how crucial seeing those front-facing and back-facing progress photos, with me flexing my biceps, was to noticing the visible changes. Some weeks, I felt like nothing was happening, but side-by-side comparisons of my photos at week 1 vs. week 7 were mind-blowing! To get the best results, try to take photos in the same lighting, at the same time of day, and in similar outfits. Don't just focus on the front; get those back shots too to really capture your full transformation. Seeing these small, consistent efforts compound visually is incredibly motivating and proved to me that my body was indeed changing. Navigating Setbacks and Staying on Track No fitness timeline is linear. I went on vacation, I ate foods I enjoy, and I certainly didn't do everything perfectly. The crucial part is not letting a deviation derail your entire journey. If you miss a workout, don't throw in the towel for the whole week. Just pick up where you left off. Focus on the long-term consistent effort rather than short-term perfection. This mindset shift made my 7-week timeline sustainable and, for the first time in a while, I feel like I'm working with my body instead of constantly fighting against it. Be proud of every small step!

Starting points & Consistency
You don’t need the new year to start. Instead of just fully indulging and going crazy the past few weeks with food and partying (I did a little), I still kept some routines and implemented new habits so that the new year wouldn’t feel like a complete overhaul. I used to always wait for Monday, t

A flat lay image showing a laptop, a colorful keyboard, a digital clock displaying 21:46:20, and stationery. The overlay text reads "how to stay motivated consistent" with a "SWIPE FOR MORE" prompt, introducing the topic.
This slide emphasizes that consistency is not an overnight project. It features a quote by James Clear: "Consistency before intensity," advising to start small and build identity. It highlights that motivation is fleeting, but consistency helps overcome slumps.
This slide provides two tips for consistency: "START SMALL" by breaking goals into tiny, manageable actions (e.g., 5 minutes of exercise), and "BE INTENTIONAL" by clearly stating when and where habits will be performed (e.g., 30-minute walk at 7 a.m.).
Consistency over Motivation
Consistency means sticking to a routine and doing small tasks regularly, even when you don't feel motivated. It's about building habits that keep you on track over time. Motivation, on the other hand, is the excitement that gets you started. However, motivation can come and go. To succe
