Beacon Hills Restaurant Review

Thursday Night Date Night

We had a quiet little dinner at Beacon Hills in Aksarben Village. It had been a hot minute since we last dined here. Staff was nice, but kind of abrasive. They'd get strongly close kind of stooping over us when we were checked on through out the meal. We had like 3 different people regularly coming by - always making the inquiry just as I'd taken a bit. It actually became kind of comical by the end lol.

Food was great. I started with the soup of the day & this day is was Philly Cheesesteak Soup. I kid you not, this was the single best part of the meal. I now wish I had a big ol'bowl of this to eat right now.it was creamy & cheesey. And also some pieces of beef & mushroom. So good!

Then I got the Beacon Hills signature salad. It's a lot like a cobb salad, except with roasted tomatoes & none of the food is cut small - so you have to cut up all the toppings yourself. This endeavor was messy with the cutlery/bowl shape combo & level of filled the vessel was. Tasted good. I could have had fewer tomatoes, very heavy oh roasted tomatoes & it started to mask the other ingredientsflavors. So, I just didn't eat some. Easily solved!

Josh got a Chicken dish served over roasted vegetables. He picked the fully load mashed potatoes as a side & was very happy with his choice. The veggies were cooked perfectly!
