Allow yourself permission to slow down without guilt, as pacing is crucial in avoiding further burnout. Reducing sensory input, such as using noise-canceling headphones or dimming lights, can alleviate overstimulation common in ADHD. Connecting with trusted friends—even through a quick text—provides emotional support and reassurance, which is instrumental in mental recovery.
