REM BEAUTY X WICKED FOR GOOD BLUSH
OMG, you guys! I finally got my hands on the R.E.M. Beauty x Wicked collection, and let me tell you, it's everything I dreamed of and more! As a huge fan of both Ariana Grande and the magical world of Wicked, I was beyond excited for this drop. This collaboration is truly special, blending the enchanting aesthetic of Oz with R.E.M. Beauty's innovative formulas. First up, let’s talk about the 'For Good' blush from the r.e.mbeautyxwicked for good line! It’s this gorgeous, buildable formula that just melts into your skin, giving you that perfect flush. I was a bit worried about whether it would be too subtle or too bold, but it's just right. It gives off such a whimsical, ethereal vibe, perfect for channeling your inner good witch. The shade itself is super flattering – I think it would look amazing on so many different skin tones – and lasts all day without feeling heavy or patchy. I've tried so many blushes, but this one truly stands out for its blendability and how natural it looks, giving that perfect 'just pinched' glow. But let's talk about the showstopper: the cherry blossom palettes! My heart literally skipped a beat when I saw the shades. The colors are so beautifully curated, a mix of soft pinks, enchanting purples, and some shimmering greens that totally give me 'Wicked' vibes with a delicate wicked cherry blossom twist. I particularly adore the shimmer shades – they're not just glitter, but a finely milled sparkle that catches the light so beautifully. I used the lighter shades for a soft daytime look and then deepened it with the shimmers and darker tones for a more dramatic evening eye, perfect for imagining myself at the Ariana Grande Wicked premiere! The pigmentation is incredible, and there's hardly any fallout, which is a huge plus for me. Seriously, if you're looking for an cherry blossom eyeshadow palette that's both magical and versatile, this is it; it feels like holding a piece of Oz in your hands. I’ve been experimenting with creating a 'Wicked' inspired makeup look, especially thinking about what Ariana Grande might wear to a glamorous event. It’s all about creating a sense of ethereal drama. I started with a light, dewy base, then applied the 'For Good' blush to the apples of my cheeks, blending upwards towards my temples to lift the face. For the eyes, I used the lightest matte shade from the cherry blossom palette all over the lid as a base, then added a pop of one of the stunning shimmer shades to the center of my lid to really open up the eye. I then carefully blended one of the deeper purple shades into the crease for definition, extending it slightly into a soft wing for a more elongated, dramatic effect. A thin line of black liquid eyeliner close to the lash line and some voluminous mascara on both upper and lower lashes completed the eye. To tie it all together, I opted for a nude-pink lip gloss for a fresh, youthful touch. And boom – I feel like I'm ready for a red carpet or at least a fabulous night out! The whole ensemble makes me feel so elegant, powerful, and a little bit mischievous, just like a character from Wicked. What I love most about this collection is how cohesive it is. The blush and cherry blossom palettes work together seamlessly, allowing for so many different looks, from soft and romantic to bold and dramatic. It's definitely an investment, but the quality and magic you get are totally worth it. If you're a makeup enthusiast, a Wicked fan, or just love beautiful, high-performing products, you absolutely need to check out the R.E.M. Beauty x Wicked collection. It's truly *for good*!
