Unfiltered Minds 🖤 A Mental Health Open Mic in Nashville, TN
Unfiltered minds is an event where anyone can get up and share a part of their story… maybe something they’ve never said out loud, or something they’ve overcome.
The goal is this: practice vulnerability in a place where it’s actually welcomed. Where being open isn’t awkward or judged, but seen as strength.
I created Unfiltered Minds after my experience on ABC’s The Bachelor, where I shared something personal, thinking it might help others feel less alone. Instead, it reminded me how far we still have to go in truly celebrating vulnerability.
Unfiltered Minds makes its 4th stop in NASHVILLE, TN!!!
📅 Date: April 7, 2026 📍 Location: The Cast Collective, 1008 16th Ave S, Nashville, TN 37212 ⏰ Time: 6:30 – 8:00 PM

Attending mental health events like Unfiltered Minds can be a transformative experience. The power of sharing personal stories in a supportive environment often helps break down feelings of loneliness and isolation that many people face silently. I’ve personally found that participating in open mic nights centered around mental wellness leads to a stronger sense of community and connection. These gatherings offer not just a platform to voice struggles and triumphs, but also an opportunity to listen deeply and gain insights from others’ experiences. The atmosphere at Unfiltered Minds feels intimate and welcoming, making it easier for attendees to practice vulnerability without fear of judgment. Especially in cities like Nashville, where community events often shape cultural connection, Unfiltered Minds bridges a crucial gap by focusing on mental wellness through storytelling. Vulnerability, when embraced as a strength, fosters healing and reduces stigma around mental health issues. Moreover, the event's format allows attendees to step out of their comfort zones gently, or simply be part of an audience that empowers others. For those who have struggled with sharing their thoughts or feelings, this kind of event is invaluable in creating a safe space where mental health is prioritized and celebrated. If you or someone you know lives in Nashville or nearby, consider attending the event on April 7, 2026, at The Cast Collective. Engaging in such community-driven mental health initiatives helps cultivate empathy and resilience that extend beyond the event itself. Mental wellness is a continuous journey, and events like Unfiltered Minds make the path more accessible and inclusive for everyone.
