I made unfiltered minds because I just wanted a space where people couldn’t be vulnerable and it could be celebrated ♥️
Nashville, TN is my 4th stop on a nationwide tour. Unfiltered Minds is an open mic format, where anyone can get up there to share, but theres no pressure to…you can totally come to just listen.
A grazing table, therapist led activities, option to share, music and giveaways…
I promise you this isnt a lecture or “group therapy,” its just a space where vulnerability can be seen as beautiful.

Attending an event like Unfiltered Minds can be a truly transformative experience for anyone looking to connect with others and embrace vulnerability around mental health. From personal experience, participating in similar open mic formats encourages self-expression and fosters a sense of community without the pressure often felt in traditional therapy or group settings. These gatherings celebrate the courage it takes to share honest feelings and personal stories, making mental health discussions feel natural and empowering. The event in Nashville is unique because it combines an open mic space with therapist-led activities and opportunities to casually enjoy music and a grazing table. This approach helps attendees engage with mental health topics in a relaxed and supportive environment. Whether you choose to speak or simply listen, being in a room where vulnerability is viewed as a strength can change how you perceive your own mental health journey. Moreover, this event is part of a nationwide tour, adding a broader sense of movement and community that extends beyond just local attendees. The focus on making “saying how you feel sexy” emphasizes the normalization and beauty of vulnerability, promoting mental health awareness in a positive and uplifting way. It’s a great chance to meet like-minded individuals who value openness and mental wellness. If you’re in Nashville or nearby, I highly recommend attending this event at The Cast Collective on April 7th from 6:30 to 8 PM. Spaces are limited to 50 seats, so signing up early through the link provided is essential. Participating in this kind of mental health-focused event not only helps yourself but also contributes to breaking down stigma around mental health in your community.
