When selecting mangoes at the store, I look for fruits that are slightly soft to the touch but free of bruises or black spots. A ripe mango's aroma near the stem end is sweet and fragrant, signaling peak ripeness. To store mangoes, I recommend keeping them at room temperature until they ripen fully, then refrigerating to extend freshness. Mangoes can be enjoyed in many ways—from eating them fresh, adding slices to smoothies, or even using them in savory dishes like salads and salsas.
