3 Core Phases of Healing!!

2025/3/2 Edited to

... Read moreHey everyone! So many of you resonated with the idea of healing as a journey, and I wanted to dive deeper into what can feel like the most transformative, yet sometimes challenging, part: the 'Realign' or 'Integration Phase.' This is truly where the magic of rebuilding happens after you've courageously released old wounds. For me, this phase was all about rebuilding beliefs. Think about it – after letting go of past hurts, you're left with a bit of a blank slate. What new narratives do you want to write for yourself? I realized I had so many limiting beliefs ingrained from past experiences, like 'I'm not good enough' or 'I always mess things up.' In this rebuilding phase, I started actively questioning these thoughts. Journaling became my best friend here. I'd write down a negative belief, then challenge it with evidence to the contrary or simply ask, 'Is this truly serving me anymore?' It wasn't easy, and sometimes it felt like I was fighting my own mind, but slowly, I began to replace those old, worn-out stories with empowering truths. Another huge aspect of the 'Realign' phase, as the images perfectly show, is setting new boundaries. This was a game-changer for my self-worth. Before, I was a chronic people-pleaser, constantly saying 'yes' even when I desperately wanted to say 'no.' During my integration phase, I learned that boundaries aren't about keeping people out; they're about protecting my energy and respecting myself. Start small, I told myself. Maybe it was saying no to an extra commitment, or clearly communicating my needs in a relationship. It felt awkward at first, even selfish, but with each boundary I set, I felt a surge of empowerment. It’s like you’re literally rebuilding your personal framework, brick by brick, making it stronger and more resilient. This phase also involves integrating your past experiences, not just discarding them. It's about acknowledging what happened, learning the lessons, and understanding how it shaped you, without letting it define your future. You're not trying to erase your history, but rather understanding its impact and consciously choosing how you move forward. It’s a powerful internal process of self-reflection and acceptance. The OCR also wisely mentioned that 'healing is not linear.' And boy, is that true for the rebuilding phase! There will be days when you feel like you've taken ten steps back. Old patterns might resurface, or you might struggle with a new boundary you’ve tried to set. Don't get discouraged! This is all part of the rebuilding process. It's about self-compassion and persistence. Celebrate the small victories, learn from the setbacks, and remember why you started this journey. You’re not just healing; you’re actively rebuilding a more authentic, powerful version of YOU. Keep going, you’ve got this!
