How to balance your professional and personal life

Work is very important for me yet lately I have noticed I need to set boundaries and be more intentional. I have been lately meshing my work life with my personal life and I have seen how it has negativily impacted me. It is easy to do this when you are passionate about your work yet here are ways to set boundaries.

1. Make sure to you stick to your work hours and if asked for them to change but you can’t you are clear about it.

2. The Moment you clock out you stop thinking and talk about your work. If you mainly work from home it can be difficult to not do this yet this is a crucial boundary. If you go out with coworkers try not talk about work but rather have a good time out of work responsibilities.

3. Have something to look forward on your days off. And truly be off. This has helped me so much. Setting activities that allow me to be free from work helps me take my mind off it and helps my personal wellness.
