my 7a-11a before my 7p-7a

So, I don't usually go to the gym when i have to work HOWEVER, it day 1/3 and i like to go at the start of my work week to set the tone. Trying to get myself back into the swing of things after the holidays have been sooooooo hard. But! we are thriving right now <33

how do you like to spend your mornings/evenings before/after work??

#beforeworkvibes #overnightworker #nursing #mealprep #gymlifestyle

... Read moreStarting my day with a 7a-11a gym session before heading into a 7p-7a overnight nursing shift has become my way to set a positive tone for the week. Although it’s challenging to get back into routine after holidays, prioritizing my health with workouts and meal prep makes a big difference in my energy and mindset. I usually wake up around 6:22 am, check my heart rate, and then quickly change into my gym outfit for a focused 45-minute workout. It’s tough at first—sometimes looking rough—but pushing through helps clear my mind and gives me a mental boost. After exercising, I dedicate some time to skin care, using nourishing products like collagen masks which help me relax and care for myself despite the busy schedule. Meal prepping is also a key part of my routine. Preparing breakfast and lunch for both my boyfriend and me ahead of time ensures we eat well even with my erratic work hours. Having cute containers makes this task enjoyable and organized. Cleaning the kitchen before heading back to rest allows me to wake up to a tidy environment, reducing stress before my night shift. Balancing overnight shifts with daytime wellness activities requires discipline, but embracing this lifestyle brings rewarding energy and resilience. I’m curious—how do others manage their mornings or evenings around demanding work schedules? Sharing routines and tips can inspire anyone striving to maintain fitness and self-care with busy jobs.
