Waiting on God

Lately, I’ve found myself leaning heavily into the message, 'I'm sticking around to see what God will do. I'm waiting on God. I'm counting on God.' It’s more than just a phrase; it’s become a daily mantra for navigating life’s uncertainties. You know those moments when you feel like you’ve done all you can, and now all that’s left is to trust? That’s exactly where I’ve been. For me, 'waiting on God' isn't about sitting idly by. It’s an active posture of faith, a conscious decision to surrender my anxieties and expectations into His hands. It means doing my part, praying, planning, and preparing, but then releasing the outcome. It's truly believing that God will provide and that His timing is always perfect, even when it feels agonizingly slow. There have been so many times I've felt overwhelmed, wondering how things would ever work out, and then I remember that profound sense of peace that comes from knowing God will get you through it. One thing that really helps me cultivate this mindset, especially for a good morning spiritual start, is to begin my day with gratitude and intentional quiet time. Before I even pick up my phone, I take a few moments to just breathe and acknowledge God's presence. Sometimes it's a simple prayer, other times it’s reading a short scripture that speaks to my current situation. This practice really sets the tone, reminding me that 'I'm counting on God' for my strength and guidance throughout the day. It’s amazing how this small shift can transform my outlook and help me remember that God will not fail you. I’ve seen firsthand how God works in mysterious ways when you truly trust Him.
