💪🏻Don’t Think, Just Do.
Virginia Woolf once said — “Writing a diary is like scratching an itch; when it flows, it’s like taking a bath.”
For me, journaling is also a kind of mental massage, a way to relax and untangle my thoughts before sleep.
Here are my September fragments. 🍂
🏷️9.1
Confidence is built on action — on the willingness to try.
I’m often afraid of the unknown, patient enough for the next 999 steps, but always stuck at the first one.
So now I repeat to myself daily:
Don’t think, just try.
Falling is fine — it’s part of learning.
🏷️ 9.2
“Happiness is when nothing happens.”
Such a healing line.
It’s okay to be tired, to rest, to feel low sometimes.
Nothing happening is already good enough.
🏷️ 9.3
Three steps to restart life:
1️⃣ Put down your phone.
2️⃣ Go to bed.
3️⃣ Wake up early and take a walk.
Smell the breakfast air, hear the passing trucks, watch the elders dance in the park.
When the sun rises and warmth hits your skin, you’ll feel—reset. ☀️
🏷️ 9.5
Rewatching “Reboot Life.”
Still the most beautiful portrait of female friendship. 💫
🏷️ 9.6
Find small things you love—the more, the better.
Not for purpose, just for joy.
If you haven’t found them yet, keep looking.
Otherwise, life becomes only survival, fragments, and fatigue.
🏷️ 9.7
Writer Li Juan once said:
“I plan to lose a few friends every year.”
Losing friends hurts, but it also brings lightness.
So I made my own “loss list”:
unused things, sleepless nights, my younger body, fading relationships.
Let it all happen. Let it all go. 🍃
🏷️ 9.10
Cool air again — autumn is near.
The season for brown sweaters and soft light.🤎
🏷️ 9.16
Books for October:
Burning Paper, The Tired Society, They and Themselves, The Menopause Diaries. 📚
🏷️ 9.30
“When winter fades, spring is born.” 🌷
Also, I loved the new season of Thirteen Invitations.
This time, the lens turned toward the people behind the guests—their partners.
One woman, who spent her life supporting her husband, was asked:
“If there’s a next life, would you choose him again?”
She said, “Absolutely not. This life, I was trapped here. If there’s a next life, I’ll live my own way.
I just want a job. That’s all.”
Her words hit deep.
Never let work, love, or life take away all of you.
Keep at least one part that’s still yours.
