99% of the time you don’t need to be adding a bunch of new exercises to your routine to overcome your pelvic floor symptoms!! Most of the women I work with are active & busy and have too much tension in their pelvic floor. In the past, when they tried doing a bunch of “pelvic floor exercises” th

Life gets a lot better when you take the risk. I always felt aligned with the career I chose but not the life it gave me. I wanted more for myself, more time with husband (and future kids) & to build something I was passionate about. Yes, it was scary to take a chance on myself and being an

50% of women have a prolapse at some point in their life but most women hadn’t even heard of prolapse until they started noticing these signs😌 If you’re struggling with any of these signs or symptoms, know that you can come out on the other side of it & get back to doing the things you love with

Being told you have prolapse feels scary, isolating and confusing🤍 it’s challenging to know where to start and that’s because what’s right for you depends on you & what you want to get back to doing. So many women I’ve worked with that have a prolapse diagnosis have come out on the other side o

Having a tight pelvic floor doesn’t mean you have to stop strength training & here’s why👇🏼 Part of the reason your pelvic floor is tight because your it’s compensating for other muscle weaknesses that are in your body. Aka when your hips, glutes, inner thighs, etc. aren’t doing their job, the pe

Pelvic floor issues have become so normalized that women are changing their lives instead of addressing the reason they’re happening… Modifying or avoiding workouts. Wearing pads or only black leggings. Feeling uncomfortable in your body most of the day. Saying “mommy can’t” when your kids

should you stop lifting with pelvic floor symptoms?
Feeling pelvic heaviness, pressure, bulging, or like a tampon is “falling out” is scary… You’re probably worried that lifting & working out is going to make things worse. But avoiding movement and workouts all together can actually worsen your symptoms overtime. If you’re not sure where to

I refuse to let symptoms or pain hold me back from seeing the world, challenging hikes or once in a lifetime experiences. But I’ve been there before. There was a time where my back pain was so debilitating I didn’t know if I’d be able to go on a 6 hour flight and do an overnight volcano hike.

if the exercises or strategies you’re doing are making your symptoms worse, then they’re not the right fit for you. progress isn’t linear. setbacks are normal. but those setbacks should be short lived & progress should continue to happen! and if you feel more heavy, have more leakage/urge

manual therapy & pelvic floor release shouldn’t be the main part of your pelvic floor rehab it’s should be used in combo with nervous system regulation, exercise & good lifestyle changes to be honest, I do recommend pelvic wands to some of my clients with pelvic floor tension but it’s a tool
