หลายครั้งที่เราตามหาความสุขจากสิ่งภายนอก เช่น ความสำเร็จ เงินทอง หรือความสัมพันธ์กับคนอื่น แต่สุดท้ายกลับพบว่าความสุขแท้จริงนั้นอยู่ในวิธีที่เรามองโลกและตัวเอง ผมเคยผ่านช่วงเวลาที่ล้มเหลวและรู้สึกว่าชีวิตขาดแคลนมากมาย แต่เมื่อเริ่มฝึกฝนใจให้รู้จัก "พอ" และให้คุณค่ากับสิ่งเล็กๆ รอบตัว เช่น รอยยิ้มของคนใกล้ชิด หรือช่วงเวลาที่ได้ทำสิ่งที่รัก ความรู้สึกที่เคยว่างเปล่าก็เริ่มถูกเติมเต็ม การรู้จักพอไม่ใช่การยอมแพ้ แต่เป็นการตัดสินใจที่ชาญฉลาดในการหยุดวิ่งไล่ตามความอยากไม่รู้จบ ที่จริงแล้วความสุขเกิดจากการเปลี่ยนมุมมองและยอมรับในตัวเองมากกว่าการแสวงหาความสมบูรณ์แบบหรือของมากมายเหมือนที่สังคมสอนมา ด้วยประสบการณ์ส่วนตัว ผมพบว่าเมื่อเลิกเปรียบเทียบตัวเองกับคนอื่นและเลิกโฟกัสที่สิ่งที่ขาด เราจะเริ่มเห็นคุณค่าของสิ่งที่เรามีและรู้สึกขอบคุณมากขึ้นทั้งกับชีวิตและตัวเอง ในโลกที่เต็มไปด้วยการแข่งขัน การตั้งเป้าหมายเพื่อเติบโตและพัฒนาตัวเองเป็นเรื่องดี แต่อย่าลืมว่าสุขภาพใจ การเคารพตัวเอง และความสงบในจิตใจ คือรากฐานของความสุขแท้จริง ลองเปลี่ยนจากการมองสิ่งที่ขาดเป็นการเห็นคุณค่าของสิ่งที่มี แล้วจะรู้ว่าความสุขอยู่ใกล้กว่าที่คิด และที่สำคัญ นั่นคือการเลือกให้ชีวิตของเราไม่โดนความอยากและความต้องการที่ไม่มีที่สิ้นสุดคุมจนขาดอิสระจากใจจริง
