My job search

So far I have made a Google sheets, of all the jobs I have been applying for #jobsearch if I have heard back if I have gotten a rejection email what type of contact I’ve had with the client when I applied position and company. Just to keep track so I can go back to see what I have done and see what I have to check back Into.

I have to say being a single mother, I’m not looking for hot hand outs I’m not looking for anything I have enough saved to possibly get me to another job long as I tighten up just keep to my budget I should do phenomenally. It’s moments like this that make me grateful for the financial Stability that budgeting and savings have given me.

... Read moreSearching for a job can be challenging, especially for single parents juggling multiple responsibilities. It’s essential to employ effective job search strategies not only to find the right opportunities but also to maintain a sense of financial stability. Start by creating a comprehensive job application tracker using tools like Google Sheets, which can help you monitor jobs you've applied to, follow-up dates, and responses from employers. Networking is another crucial aspect of a successful job search. Engage with online communities, attend local job fairs, and leverage social media platforms dedicated to job hunting. By connecting with others who are also in the job market or professionals in your field, you can discover unadvertised job openings and gain insights into companies. Additionally, consider reaching out to recruiting agencies or career coaches who specialize in your industry. They can provide personalized advice and potentially connect you to job openings that align with your skills and experience. Be sure to tailor your resume and cover letter to highlight your unique situation as a single parent, showcasing your resilience, time management skills, and the ability to adapt to various challenges. Lastly, remember to take care of your mental well-being throughout this process. Job searching can be exhausting, but maintaining a balanced routine that includes self-care can help keep your spirits high. Celebrate small victories, stay positive, and trust that your hard work will pay off in securing a fulfilling job.
