I love updating & changing my setup to fit my needs/wants and I’m still working towards creating my dream setup, so that means my desk setup wishlist is constantly growing.
Here are some of the items at the top of my wishlist!
♡ LG 24GN650-B Ultragear Gaming Monitor - I’ve been wanting a dual monitor setup for awhile now. Mostly for the multitasking aspect while gaming and the increased productivity while working. Just need to figure out how to make it work with my small desk space 🤔
♡ Non-Slip Desk Pad
My current desk mat is a bit small for my liking and is getting a bit crusty 😅 so a new one may be needed. I’m thinking pink…
♡ BlissTrends Foot Rest
I spend a significant amount of time at my desk daily and as much as I love my setup, playing/working at it can become uncomfortable. Under desk foot rests claim to help with back pain, healthy posture, foot & hip support, as well as blood circulation.

I'm always looking for ways to enhance my workspace, whether it's for intense gaming sessions or getting through my daily tasks. It's amazing how much a few thoughtful additions can transform your entire experience, making those long hours at the desk feel so much more comfortable and inspiring.
When it comes to monitors, I'm specifically eyeing the LG 24GN650-B Ultragear Gaming Monitor. After doing some research, a 24-inch IPS monitor like this offers fantastic color accuracy and wide viewing angles, which is super important for both gaming and any creative work. The high refresh rate is a game-changer for smooth visuals, and its adjustable features mean I can tweak it perfectly for ergonomic viewing. I've been dreaming of a dual monitor setup for ages; imagine the multitasking possibilities! Even with a small desk, strategic placement or a monitor arm can make it work, completely changing how I manage different applications and stay organized.
Another item high on my list is a new non-slip desk pad. Honestly, my current one has seen better days, and a fresh start would be amazing. Beyond just aesthetics (I'm thinking pink!), a good desk pad protects your surface from scratches and spills. The waterproof material is a huge plus, making cleaning spills a breeze, and a large size ensures ample space for both my keyboard and mouse. It also provides a smooth, consistent surface for precise mouse movements, which is crucial whether you're gaming or working on detailed projects. Plus, a non-slip backing keeps everything securely in place, no matter how intense the action gets.
And let's talk about comfort – a BlissTrends Foot Rest is a must-have for anyone spending significant time at their desk. I've heard so many good things about how an under-desk footrest can drastically improve posture and alleviate back pain. Imagine having two adjustable heights to find that perfect ergonomic position! It's not just about the back; it can also help with hip support and improve blood circulation in your legs, preventing that tired, achy feeling. It’s those little ergonomic touches that make a huge difference in long-term comfort and well-being. I'm convinced it'll be a game-changer for my comfort during those marathon work-from-home days.
Beyond these specific items, setting up a truly cozy and efficient desk environment involves a few other considerations. Think about cable management – tidying up those wires can instantly make your space feel cleaner and less cluttered. Good lighting is also essential; a soft, ambient light can reduce eye strain. Finally, don't forget to personalize your space with things that make you happy, whether it's plants, photos, or cute figurines. Your desk is where you spend a lot of time, so make it a place that truly reflects you and supports your best self!
I have that footrest for working from home. It's not that comfortable for me. I'm not sure if it's because I'm so tall or if it really isn't that comfortable.
