I thought I survived happily, but wherever I got scolded for free all the way! 😭 The story is that we and our friends traveled across the city of China on a three-story sleeper train, where our ticket got a second-floor bed (middle bed). We climbed up to our own bed as usual.
When I was climbing, there was a Chinese aunt who lay in the bottom bed talking loudly behind me in a series. I couldn't hear it, plus I thought that normal Chinese people were already talking loudly, so I didn't care. I slept overnight to my chilly destination.
But the peak is that immediately off the train, a close friend traveling together (and she listens to Chinese!) walks and whispers to him:..You know, my aunt in the bottom bed cursed you when I climbed up. Your aunt said, "I'm upstairs and still late. They don't know the time." Huh!! We go by normal ticket time. Aunt!
That rhythm is the thing. Turn to my friend why he just told me when he arrived!
