Evacuation Bag for Pets at War

In unpredictable emergency situations, especially in wartime, our pets rely 100% on us. Prepare "evacuation bag" or "Pet Go Bag" is important to save their lives.

This is a list of generic drugs and essential supplies that should be available in your dog and cat's emergency bag.

⚕️ 1. Set of generic drugs and first aid supplies

This is the centerpiece of the bag. It is used to manage acute wounds that can occur.

Medications for Congenital Diseases: (Most Important!) If your pet has a congenital disease, it must be available for at least 1-2 weeks.

Normal Saline: A small bottle for washing the wound, or washing the eye if dusty.

Disinfectant (incision type): such as povidone-iodine or chlorhexidine for washing external incisions

Sterile Gauze: Multiple Sizes for Wound Closure

Flexible bandage (Cosistent Chair): that can be wrapped next to itself, not attached to hair (the type used by veterinarians)

Medical Tape

Scissors (blunt end): For cutting bandages, or cutting wound area hair.

Rubber Gloves: Prevent Infection When Making Wounds

Tweezers: For tongs, fragments of thorns, glass fragments, or foreign objects out of the wound (carefully).

Topical Antibiotic Ointment: Wax for applying wounds (Consult a veterinarian to choose a safe type)

Styptic Powder: A case of torn or slightly bleeding nails.

Mercury Measures Fever (Digital): For Anal Measurements

Anti-Lick Collar (E-Collar): Inflatable or soft type is easier to carry.

Muzzle: For a dog, although he is not normally scolded, when in pain or panic, the dog may bite in self-defense.

Emergency Blanket: A thin sheet of silver foil helps maintain body temperature.

Pellet diet: enough for 3-7 days (divided into zip lock bags)
