About me in photos

I am a wife, mother, pet owner, artist, and author. I am a Jew, poet, and elected public servant. I love to be in #joy with my #family. I enjoy #nature, #arts, #culture, creativity, spirituality, education, dance, photography, and poetry. I am a mental health, education, arts, and DEI advocate. I am an activist for justice and joy. I have extensive experience in education (Pre-k through 12), arts, diversity, equality, equity, inclusion, justice, belonging, and liberation. I am politically “liberal” and I believe that capitalism will not save the soul of America, but caring for one another’s humanity, dignity, survival, and freedom will unite our nation. I have a both/and mindset. I hold my Black history, heritage, culture, ancestors, and people in my heart, AND I embrace multiculturalism and multilingualism. I cherish humanity, nature, and animals. Culture is beautiful (cultural specificity & cultural diversity). I aim to feel and BE FREE. Freedom is critical and love is powerful.

How I add doodles to my photos🎨 I love adding doodles to my photos because they look cute, and it is fun! I use the markup feature in the iOS Photos app to edit all my pictures/posts.  I used to use the Procreate app (and still do sometimes), but the editing process took me twice as long. Pro
