My little cousin who I’m making this project for came to stay with me this weekend, so I’ve been having to crochet in secret. 🤫
I did so good about keeping the secret all weekend long until today, when my god daughter asked me if I was done with my cousins scarf RIGHT in front of my cousin 🤦🏻♀️ Oh well! She didn’t see it so it’ll still be a surprise!
Now I have to make her brother, my other little cousin, something too because he heard and was jealous. Luckily I had some beautiful yarn sitting aside for just this reason 😂
I had a great weekend with my son, little cousins, and god daughter. We did lots of activities and managed to stay dry despite all the flooding in Appalachia. We dealt with a power outage but entertained each other the entire time. 🥰
Thank you to everyone who wished my aunt well in her surgery, she is recovering nicely now! 🫶🏼

Thank you so much for all your help with the kids this weekend. I truly think it was the most peaceful beginning path to recovery after surgery I've ever had. I slept when I felt like it, we watched Tv together (grown-up shows, lol), it helped so much and the kids had soooooo much fun!!
