✨ Salvation Is Through Jesus, Not Good Works ✨

One of the biggest misunderstandings about Christianity is believing we can “earn” our way into Heaven by being a good person. But the Bible teaches something completely different. 🤍

No amount of good works, kindness, church attendance, money, or effort could ever remove sin or make us righteous before God on our own. That’s why Jesus came.

The Gospel is not about what we can do for God — it’s about what Jesus already did for us on the cross. 🙏

This storyboard was created to help explain the truth of salvation through grace:

✨ We all fall short of God’s standard

✨ Good works cannot save us

✨ Jesus paid the price for our sins

✨ Salvation is a free gift received through faith

✨ Eternal life is found in Jesus alone

Good works are still important — but they are the result of a transformed heart, not the requirement for salvation. We don’t work for salvation… we live faithfully because we’ve received it through Christ. 🤍

If you are looking for lineages, and story boards you can check the link out in my bio. Thank you for your support. Means so much.

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith… not by works, so that no one can boast.” — Ephesians 2:8-9

... Read moreUnderstanding salvation through Jesus is fundamental to Christian faith, and it's enlightening to recognize why good works alone cannot secure eternal life. From personal experience, I've seen how embracing salvation by grace frees one from the burden of trying to 'be good enough' and instead opens the door to genuine peace and joy. No matter how many good deeds we perform, the Bible emphasizes that all have sinned and fallen short of God’s glory (Romans 3:23). This universal human condition separates us from God, and only Jesus’ perfect life and sacrificial death bridge that gap. When I first grasped this, it changed my whole approach to faith—not as a checklist of deeds, but a relationship built on trust in what Jesus did for me. Faith isn’t passive; once saved by grace, good works naturally flow as evidence of the transformed heart, not as a way to earn salvation. This transformation is beautiful and lifelong, leading to a life of purpose and service motivated by love rather than obligation. If you're exploring the journey of faith or Bible study on salvation, reflecting on Ephesians 2:8-9 can be especially encouraging: “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.” This scripture highlights the gift-like nature of salvation that cannot be earned but only received. Embracing salvation through Jesus means trusting Him as the only way to the Kingdom of God (John 14:6). It offers assurance that eternal life is secure when one puts faith in Christ, a promise that brings hope amid life’s uncertainties. In summary, salvation is a divine gift received through faith, reflecting God’s love and mercy. Good works are the fruit of this grace, a joyful expression of a heart made new by Christ’s sacrifice. This understanding can deeply enrich one’s spiritual life and encourage a faith that is both humble and active.

Some of us didn’t walk away from Jesus… we walked away from rules, pressure, and performances that never felt like Him in the first place. Real Jesus, Jesus of the Bible... doesn’t leave you exhausted, pretending, or trying to earn love you already have. He meets you right where you are...
