I’m not guessing with postpartum hair loss
Postpartum hair loss is one of those things that no one really prepares you for. It’s a lot! But trust me it’s temporary. During pregnancy high estrogen levels prevent the hair from shedding. After child birth hormones levels plummet and the accumulated hair sheds all at the same time. Postpartum telogen effluvium usually starts around 3 months and can last 6-12 months. You can’t fully prevent it but you CAN optimize your re-growth period.
These are the things I’m using to support my hair and stimulate regrowth:
@currentbody Hair Helmet - I use it everyday to help stimulate scalp circulation which increases oxygen and nutrients to the hair follicles. (discount code DRCHISOM)
Scalp massager - Improves blood flow to the scalp when done consistently and has been shown to increase hair thickness
@CÉCRED Hair and Edge Drops - I’ve been using this for awhile and I’ve noticed a difference in my edges already.
@amika Mirrorball shampoo and conditioner as a gentle hair care combo.
@Perelel Pre/postnatal vitamins. Nutrition is very important. Continue your prenatal vitamin to support your diet, especially if you’re breastfeeding.
