Quitting My Full Time Job

QUITTING MY FULL TIME JOB!

WHY? Because my happiness matters. A lot of the time people don’t quit because of job, they quit because of ‘management.’ Let me tell you… my ‘boss.’ I couldn’t not handle it anymore. I found myself crying every night. I found myself have stress dreams. I felt my self hating waking up because I had to go to work. And it honestly wasn’t the job itself. I hated getting messages from my manager, seeing emails, his vehicle. Everything. I searched and searched for a job. Had an interview and failed. And one day, at my local coffee shop that I love I overhead the owner talking about needing to look for some help. So I jumped on that opportunity SO FAST! I met up with her AND I GOT THE JOB!! A little barista in my coffee shop. Part time.

It’s a huge leap of faith because I’m so used to working my butt off all the time and always being on the go. This opportunity will allow me to slow down and enjoy life and tap more into what I love. BEING CREATIVE!!

I definitely took a big pay cut…but I’m all reality, if I can live within means and BE HAPPY, it’s not a loss at all. I’m trusting this process and this opportunity. I deserve to be happy. I’m scared, I’m nervous, I’m having the what ifs, but I’m also ready. Ready for a new adventure and being able to enjoy life 🩷

Ultimately, the choice to leave a job for happiness may seem risky, but it can be one of the most rewarding decisions you make for your life.

That’s EXACTLY why I left my career in education and now work part time packing orders at a warehouse! I feel so well rested, have time for me and my family, can dedicate time to my creativity as well, I can go on and on! So happy you made the change gf 💕
