I can't believe how much I HATE this......

I’ve been trying EOS lotions for ages, so I finally caved and grabbed one of their “classic” vanilla scents. I regretted it within 15 seconds flat.

What I got? Straight up vanilla pudding in a bottle. Not the cute kind. They're artificial, cloying, and so sweet it made my nose wrinkle. I literally had to wash it off my hands, it was that bad.

Total bummer cause I wanted to love it! I’m already prepping to return it, but should I give other EOS scents a shot? Has anyone else had a disaster with EOS lotion scents? Which ones are actually good with no weird pudding vibes, please! What’s a scent I can expect that’s actually nice and not overwhelming? Help a girl out!

... Read moreEOS lotions are widely recognized for their moisturizing capabilities and unique scent profiles, but experiences can vary significantly depending on the fragrance choice. The "classic" vanilla scent, as described, often leans towards an overly sweet and artificial vanilla pudding aroma which can be off-putting for many users sensitive to strong fragrances. If you’re looking to avoid the typical vanilla pudding scent, exploring other EOS lotion scents might be worthwhile. Popular alternatives include the Mint, Coconut Milk, and Lavender variations, which offer fresher, lighter, and more natural aromatic experiences without overwhelming sweetness. For instance, the Mint scent provides a cooling, invigorating freshness, while Coconut Milk gives a creamy yet subtle tropical aroma that pairs well with nourishing ingredients. Moreover, the EOS lotion formula is enriched with 7 nourishing oils and butters, such as Shea Butter and Jojoba Oil, providing long-lasting hydration and soothing protection for dry skin. However, scent can heavily influence user satisfaction, so patch testing or smelling the lotion in stores before purchasing is recommended. Considering the lotion packaging, EOS products come in a 16FL OZ (473mL) capacity, which is generous and cost-effective for regular use. The "Evolution of Smooth" brand has built its popularity on this combination of moisturizing ingredients, appealing fragrances, and appealing packaging. But as consumers become more discerning about artificial fragrances and potential sensitivities, it's important to choose formulations aligned with personal preferences and skin sensitivities. If you found the vanilla scent too artificial or cloying, you might also explore unscented or lightly scented moisturizing lotions from other brands that emphasize natural ingredients. Additionally, sharing your scent preferences and experiences in online communities like #EOSLotionReview or #Asklemon8 can help gather genuine recommendations from users who have navigated similar challenges. In summary, while EOS lotions offer effective skin hydration with trendy scents, not all fragrances will appeal to every user. Exploring other scents, focusing on natural or subtle aromas, and engaging with community feedback can help ensure your lotion choice is enjoyable and beneficial for your skincare routine.

I love the vanilla one but I know that it could be over powering but the coconut one is SUPER GOOD I will say it’s a tiny bit strong but not strong as vanilla cashmere. Fresh and cozy is also a good one I personally think it smells like a man but still a good one. And there is an unscented if maybe you like the way it moisturizes but not the smell
