Missing my tea set up 💕

Since moving, I’ve been racking my brain trying to come up with the perfect cozy vibe for my new tea station, especially with fall just around the corner! My old setup was lovely, but I’m ready for a fresh start and some warm, autumn-inspired touches. I've been brainstorming a ton of fall ideas and wanted to share some of my favorite inspirations for creating that perfect, inviting tea nook. First off, incorporating a plant theme for fall can be tricky but totally doable! Instead of just green leafy plants, I'm thinking about adding plants with deeper, richer hues. Mums are classic for fall, and a small pot of terracotta-colored mums can instantly bring in that autumnal feel. Or, consider dried floral arrangements – think pampas grass, dried eucalyptus, or even some rustic wheat stalks in a pretty vase. These add texture and warmth without needing constant watering, perfect for a low-maintenance, cozy corner. I’m also eyeing some small succulents in autumnal-toned pots, like deep reds or burnt oranges, to keep some green without straying too far from the fall palette. For general fall decor, I'm all about layering textures. Imagine a soft, chunky knit throw draped over a chair next to your tea station, or a small sheepskin rug underneath. This instantly makes the space feel more inviting. Candles are a must for that warm, flickering glow – I'm looking for scents like pumpkin spice, apple cider, or cinnamon stick to really immerse myself in the season. Don't forget ambient lighting, too! A string of warm fairy lights can add a magical touch, especially in the evenings when you're winding down with a cup of chai. I've also been thinking about using natural elements. Small decorative pumpkins or gourds scattered around, pinecones collected from a walk, or even a bowl of colorful autumn leaves can bring the outdoors in. A wooden tray to hold your teapot and cups can also add a rustic, earthy feel. For a personal touch, I love the idea of displaying some fall-themed artwork or even printing out some cozy autumn quotes to frame. And what about the tea itself? Fall is the perfect time to stock up on spiced teas, herbal blends, and comforting rooibos. Having a dedicated space for your favorite fall brews, perhaps in cute airtight jars, can be part of the decor too! I'm planning to organize my tea selection by flavor profile, making it easy to pick out a cozy blend on a chilly evening.
