dream. plan. do. 💙
Happy Saturday friends!! I was thinking about my earlier journaling days. I didn’t have a voice yet, didn’t have many supplies…was just trying to figure out how to create the things I saw in my imagination. But there’s something so elegant about spreads that are not complex and don’t require dozens of supplies. Don’t get me wrong, I love the epic spreads. I love making spreads that have a million different pieces. But you don’t have to have a room full of supplies. You can journal with whatever you have .every spread is beautiful in its own way. I hope you all have a wonderful day!! Thank you so much for watching!!

When I first started journaling, I felt the same way — not having many supplies made me doubt if I could express the ideas and imagery in my mind. But over time, I realized the true beauty lies in the creativity and intent behind each page, not in the number of tools you own. One thing that helped me was focusing on minimalistic journaling techniques. Using just a few pens, markers, or even scraps of paper, I learned to layer textures and colors artistically. This approach encourages you to use what you have at hand, which also makes the process less overwhelming and more enjoyable. Another tip is to incorporate everyday items into your spreads—old tickets, photos, or even dried flowers. These small treasures add personal meaning and uniqueness to your pages without needing elaborate crafting supplies. Planning your journal sections around themes or goals, like ‘dream,’ ‘plan,’ and ‘do,’ can also bring clarity and inspiration. Breaking down your ideas into these actionable steps offers motivation and makes your journaling sessions purposeful. Finally, don’t hesitate to share your progress with a like-minded community. Whether through social media hashtags like #journaling or local crafting groups, connecting with others boosts creativity and helps you discover new techniques. Remember, journaling is a personal journey — embrace simplicity, celebrate your unique style, and let your imagination guide you. Every spread tells a story, and every story is worth telling.

I love it.....and watching you bring it to life with such grace and ease! I love being around artistic people, although I'm sad to say it hasn't rubbed off on me at all. One can keep hoping! lol
