Michigan's Black Rocks

Michigan's Black Rocks at Presque Isle are one of the most beautiful and fun places to for a day on Lake Superior! Situated within Presque Isle Park in Marquette...these 1.7 billion year old rock formations offer some of the most stunning views you’ll get of Lake Superior and the UP’s coastline. While there are trails that lead you around most of the beautiful Black Rocks, one of the favorite spots is a small cove with a pebble beach area and a large rock outcropping extending out into Lake Superior on one side. You’ll find folks lounging on this beach watching plenty of others jump from the rocky outcropping into the cold, clear waters of Lake Superior below.
