fix your FYP
I’m still seeing (recent) posts of people expressing frustrations with the lemon8 FYP coming up with content that’s not relevant to them. A lot of these posts are suggesting blocking the users to prevent that kind of content - this removes their posts but doesn’t really impact the algorithm that’s giving you those posts in the first place. There’s a newer feature that you can use to influence what you see, and here’s how to use it.
✨ long press on the post from either your FYP or on the open post itself
✨ tap “not interested”
✨ tap whichever option you want - you can pick to see less of that topic or less from that creator
And that’s it! Select “not interested” on what you don’t want to see and get the FYP that makes sense for you!

So, next time your FYP feels off, try long-pressing a few posts and tapping 'not interested.' Over time, you’ll notice the content you care about starts to surface more often, creating a more curated and pleasant browsing experience.
