bin store baby find
Bin stores are the best! If you’re not familiar with these, they’re stores that buy pallets of returned merchandise and resell it. Most of it comes from Amazon returns and is still in unopened packages. If you’re willing to spend time digging through the massive amount of stuff there can be some good finds! My local store is open five days a week, Friday-Tuesday, and everything is a certain price each day. It starts at $5 on Friday and decreases by $1 til everything is only $1 on Tuesday. Tuesdays are my favorite days to go! The high end items are gone but there are always still great finds to be found.
Yesterday I went and one of the items I found was this water mat. It’s got little foam sea animals in it and makes waves when it’s poked or hit. My son loves it! This thing kept him entertained for nearly half an hour - I know that doesn’t sound like a lot, but for an 11 month old it’s an eternity!
