I got my first negative comments on lemon8 🍋
Further back on my profile I have a post about using menstrual blood as plant fertilizer. I added lots of warnings, censored heavily, and even captioned that it’s not for everyone.
I knew I’d get some negative comments using words like, “ew” “disgusting” “weird” and so on. But it’s gotten so severe. I even have religious people commenting discrediting my religion and saying it isn’t real... What happened to that being religious discrimination? Or at the very least, rude?
I mentioned being a witch in that post so briefly, too. My heart is sad that people feel so comfortable being so cruel. I go on a blocking spree every time a negative comment pops in. I just can’t handle it.
This app is supposed to be a safe place and I hate that so many are shaming others and think it’s not shame. The fact that they think the words disgusting, gross, and other derogatory terms are so tied with periods that they can’t tell it’s cruel anymore…. Makes my heart hurt ❤️🩹
