Elementary teacher, ditch 90% of bad behaviors

Elementary teachers, you may be thinking, "how on Earth can I give my students time to talk and move?"

As an elementary teacher myself, I fully understand the time crunch we are CONSTANTLY under. And it may seem like students being silent and still is the most efficient way to learn.

So we discipline our students, trying to get them to be quiet and still. The problem? Kids cannot physically stay silent and still for long.

Imagine someone asking you to lift 100 lbs, then punishing you every time you don't. If you're like me and can't lift 100 lbs, that would be incredibly frustrating and even discouraging.

So how do we give students a chance to talk and move without creating chaos? We've helped other teachers like you do exactly this inside our programs. DM me to see if we can do the same for you ❤️

... Read moreAs elementary teachers, managing classroom behavior can be a significant challenge. It’s essential to understand that children naturally thrive when they can express themselves and engage physically with their surroundings. Incorporating movement and interaction in your teaching methods not only enhances learning but also helps reduce disruptive behaviors like blurting and lack of self-control. Methods such as structured discussion times, movement breaks, and interactive activities can create a more dynamic and responsive classroom atmosphere. Research indicates that integrating such approaches can lead to higher engagement levels and improved academic performance. When students feel encouraged to communicate and participate actively, their investment in learning increases, making it crucial for educators to adapt their methods accordingly. Teachers can start small by introducing short, structured discussions or pair-sharing activities that allow students to express their thoughts. Additionally, modeling positive behavior and offering praise for engaged participation can foster a supportive environment. By redefining how we approach classroom management, we can truly minimize 90% of the disciplinary challenges we face. Explore resources and professional development options that offer practical solutions tailored for today’s classrooms.
