Ask me about it!

I love talking about perfume! I also have a ton of samples from Heavenly Ouds & Twisted Lily. I am currently obsessed over Pacifica’s Silver moon. Honestly, I love all of Pacifica’s scents. I have a ton of their body sprays too. The Fine’ry Pistachio Please is my newest addition, but it doesn’t last long, and honestly.. neither does Silver moon, but hey, they’re affordable right?

Currently waiting on Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere in the mail :)

What’s your favorite perfume??

... Read moreIt's so frustrating when you find a scent you adore, like Fine'ry Pistachio Please or even Pacifica's Silver Moon, and it just vanishes in a couple of hours, right? I've been there! I've picked up a few tricks to help those beautiful fragrances linger longer. First, always moisturize your skin before applying perfume. An unscented lotion creates a better base for the scent molecules to cling to. Another game-changer is applying to pulse points – wrists, neck, behind the ears. The warmth helps diffuse the scent throughout the day. And don't forget your hair! A light spritz on your hairbrush can make your fragrance follow you subtly without being overwhelming. Beyond making them last, finding those hidden gems that smell luxurious without breaking the bank is my eternal quest. While Pacifica is a fantastic go-to for affordable everyday scents, I've also been exploring other brands. For instance, if you love creamy, gourmand notes like "Pistachio Cream" or "Marshmallow Fluff," there are so many indie brands creating incredible, long-lasting alternatives. I've stumbled upon scents that remind me of "CREME GLAZED" pastries or "DONUTS Perfume" that are just divine and surprisingly affordable. It's all about doing a little digging and reading reviews. Speaking of unique scents, I've noticed a huge trend towards food-inspired fragrances, and honestly, I'm here for it! Imagine smelling like "Maple top notes" or a warm "Cinnamon Roll." Brands like Le Monde Gourmand are masters at this, and their "VANILLE CREME" or "APPLE PIE MACARON" scents are just mouth-watering. I even saw some small-batch perfumers doing "CHOCOLATE COOKIES" or "COFFEE BEAN" inspired perfumes. For something truly distinctive, exploring "OUD" blends can introduce you to a whole new world of complex, rich aromas. It's a fun way to step outside the usual floral or fruity categories. My sample collection, especially from places like Heavenly Ouds and Twisted Lily, has been a lifesaver for discovering new favorites without committing to a full bottle. I always keep a little notebook to jot down my first impressions, how the scent evolves on my skin, and how long it actually lasts. It's like a scientific experiment, but way more fun! I recently tried a "CREAMY SUNSHINE" scent that was an unexpected delight, and some "Land of Aahs" perfumes have really caught my attention with their whimsical notes. It's amazing how a tiny vial can open up a world of possibilities. So, if you're like me and constantly on the hunt for your next signature scent or just want to expand your fragrance wardrobe without emptying your wallet, don't shy away from samples and exploring lesser-known brands. There's a whole universe of beautiful, budget-friendly "powdery" or "Bum Bum Cream"-inspired scents waiting to be discovered. What are some of your best affordable fragrance finds that truly last?
