糸島市

Popular Itoshima is one of the places I want you to go 🏖️

About 40 minutes by car from Fukuoka City, it is one of the most popular areas in Fukuoka with the sea, mountains, cafes and art.

You can also visit "Futamigaura no Meoto Iwa" where the sunset is beautiful and fashionable cafes by the sea.

There are plenty of natural spots such as "Keya no Daimon" and "Shiraito Falls," so it is also recommended for driving. If you drive a little 🚗, you can reach Karatsu in Saga Prefecture.

櫛田神社

Hakata's 🏮

It is also famous as the stage of Hakata Gion Yamakasa, and actual yamakasa are displayed in the precincts.

Known as "Mr. Kushida," it has the benefits of good luck and business prosperity. It is also within walking distance from Hakata Station.

福岡城跡

A castle ruin built by Nagamasa, the son of Kanbei Kuroda. From the stone walls and the castle tower, you can see the city of Fukuoka and it is perfect for a historical walk. From Honmaru to Sannomaru is Maizuru Park, and the outer moat at that time is maintained as Ohori Park.

ベイサイドプレイス博多

A complex facility along Hakata Bay. The aquarium that can be seen for free has a high degree of healing. There are restaurants such as seafood bowl and steak in the facility. You can climb the port tower and enjoy a boat trip to Uminonakamichi and Iki from the ferry terminal.

マリンワールド海の中道

Kyushu's largest aquarium. Dolphin shows, penguin walks, and a large aquarium that reproduces the sea of Kyushu are attractive.

Located in the Uminonakamichi area, there are plenty of parks and resort facilities around. The nearby hotel, Louigans, is also fashionable.

It is a healing spot recommended for both families and couples.

福岡市動植物園

A zoo surrounded by greenery in Chuo City Minami Park. About 100 species of animals such as elephants, lions, and red pandas live. I like the exhibition of elephants 🐘 leisurely walking on a spacious site and penguins 🐧 swimming leisurely in a large aquarium. Since there are ups and downs in the park, shoes that are easy to walk are recommended.

The botanical garden is also a highlight, and you can enjoy the seasonal Hana flowers.

太宰府天満宮

It is the main shrine of Tenmangu Shrines all over Japan, where Sugawara no Michizane, the god of learning, is enshrined.

There are many attractions such as Taiko Bridge, Romon Gate, Goshinushi, and Hibai.

On the approach, you can enjoy eating "Umegae Mochi" and Japanese sweets, and the Kyushu National Museum and Tenkai Inari Shrine are also within walking distance.

柳川市

A little over an hour away from Fukuoka City by train 🚃. In Yanagawa, a town of water village, you can enjoy going down the river on a Donko boat.

Enjoy the atmosphere of the castle town with the song of the boatman.

"Steamed eel" is also a specialty and is recommended for gourmet trips.
