【 Hakata-Goto Islands 】 Goto is exciting to go by night ferry "Taiko"✨
I got on the night ferry "Taiko" heading from Hakata to Goto. There is a suite room limited to one room in Taiko, and I thought that I would like to stay if I go to Goto.
The room is equipped with a bed, refrigerator, shower, dresser and sofa space.
Moreover, with a private deck, the time to look at the starry sky while feeling the sea breeze at night is just extraordinary.
Especially the sunrise was a wonderful view that I want you to check the time and wake up by all means.
In addition to suites, there are various facilities such as twin, family, green sleeper, game center, relaxing room with massage chair, shower room etc.
The suite fee is + 17,600 yen to the regular fare (up to 4 people OK). If you stay with two people, this luxury costs 8,800 yen per person. It is definitely cheaper to go from Fukue to Hakata than from Hakata, so that is also recommended.
We leave Hakata at 23: 45 in the evening and arrive at Goto and Fukue Port at 8: 15 in the morning, so it is good to arrive at the island while sleeping.
However, I arrive at Uku, Ojika, Aogata, and Naru from midnight to early morning before arriving at Fukue. Each time I wake up because the engine sound is amazing. There is no doubt that it is exciting to taste a little extraordinary.

私が乗ったときに「事前に知っておけばよかった！」と思った、フェリー太古の乗り方メモを追記します。博多港から五島列島（福江）へ夜行フェリーで行く人の不安が少しでも減ればうれしいです。 まず博多港は、出港時間のギリギリに行くとバタバタしがち。待合室で飲み物を買ってから乗り込む人も多いので、私は早めに着いて、乗船口の場所と売店の有無を確認してから並びました。夜23:45発はテンションが上がる反面、眠気も来るので、乗船前にトイレと軽食を済ませておくと安心です。 客室選びは「寝られるかどうか」を基準に考えるのが現実的。スイートは部屋が広くて、シャワー・トイレが部屋内にあるのが強み。人目を気にせず身支度できるので、到着後すぐ動きたい人に向いていました。一方で、深夜〜早朝に宇久・小値賀・青方・奈留へ寄港するので、エンジン音や停泊時の振動で目が覚めることも。私は耳栓（もしくはノイズ対策のイヤホン）がかなり役立ちました。 「太古フェリーのシャワー」については、スイート以外だと共用シャワールームを使う形になります。混む時間帯を避けたいなら、乗船後すぐか、朝の到着前の時間にサッと入るのがおすすめ。タオルやアメニティは念のため自分で用意しておくと安心でした。 グリーン寝台やツイン、ファミリーを検討している人は、料金だけでなく“翌朝の動きやすさ”も含めて選ぶと後悔しにくいです。私は「寝ている間に五島に着く」ラクさが想像以上で、到着後の時間をまるっと観光に使えました。 最後に、いちばんのご褒美はデッキからの景色。夜は海風と星空、朝は日の出が本当にきれいでした。日の出の時刻を事前に調べてアラームをかけておくと、短い滞在でも“船旅した感”が一気に増します。五島から博多へ戻る便も含めて、フェリー太古は移動そのものが思い出になるルートだと思います。
