read these for a SUMMERWEEN SCARE! 🎃

June's almost over but I wanted to give some of my SUMMERWEEN BOOK RECS. Halloween is my favorite holiday of all time and October is my favorite month. The vibes are just perfect. The first slide is actually my living room decorated for Halloween!! 🎃

I know I have 2 Grady Hendrix books on here but he's one of my favorite horror authors. He's supposed to be releasing a book later this year, so I'm super thrilled to read it!

Let me know if you have some good Summerween/horror books rec! I'd love to read some more spooky books before June's over.

... Read moreSummerween is a playful blend of summer and Halloween vibes, perfect for horror enthusiasts looking to enjoy a spooky twist during the warmer months. To elevate your reading list, consider diving into Grady Hendrix's books like 'My Best Friend's Exorcism', which offers a clever mix of nostalgia and horror. This title has been praised for its unique voice, making it a favorite amongst fans of modern horror. If you're in the mood for classic horror, titles inspired by works such as 'The Exorcist' and 'Silence of the Lambs' can provide chilling narratives that haunt your thoughts long after you turn the last page. Consider collections that include short stories, perfect for those who enjoy a quick scare; anthologies containing works by authors like Edgar Allan Poe or H.P. Lovecraft are often well-received. These stories are rich in atmosphere and can provide a variety of thematic elements—ranging from psychological horror to supernatural tales. For something newer, keep an eye out for online forums and book clubs discussing anticipated releases in the horror genre. Engaging with communities that focus on horror book recommendations can enhance your reading experience, giving you insights on emerging titles and hidden gems that might otherwise go unnoticed. With so many avenues to explore, let Summerween inspire both your reading choices and decorations, creating an enchanting atmosphere filled with tales of fright and fun.
