I'm STILL reminiscing about my trip to France, I want to go back so badly 💔 I spent a total of 2 weeks in Europe (hopping between France and Spain), but only 2 days in Paris!

From where we spent such a short time in Paris, we kind of had to speedrun a lot of things! This wasn't too bad other than rushing through museums and going, going, going ALL DAY long.

But if I could, I would go it all over again!!!

(hopefully I didn't butcher any French in this post 🤞)

Among the most famous sights is La Tour Eiffel (Eiffel Tower), an emblem of French art and architecture offering breathtaking views from its observation decks. Close by is Hotel de Ville, the French City Hall, known for its striking Renaissance architecture and significant role in Parisian governance. Notre Dame Cathedral is another essential stop, renowned globally for its Gothic design and historical importance, especially after its recent restoration efforts. Art enthusiasts should not miss the Petit Palais, which houses an extensive collection of fine arts in a beautiful Beaux-Arts building. For those interested in French history and culture, Monument à la République is a symbolic statue located in a bustling public square, perfect for photo opportunities and soaking in the local atmosphere. The Opéra Garnier, a masterpiece of 19th-century theater architecture, offers guided tours revealing its opulent interiors and history. Further immersing in spiritual and medieval architecture can be done by visiting Saint Martin des-Champs Priory and the Church of Saint-Séverin, both exemplary of Paris’s rich religious heritage. First-time visitors should also consider nearby landmarks like the Arc de Triomphe, a monumental arch honoring those who fought and died during the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars. Efficient planning, such as grouping sights by proximity and booking tickets in advance, can alleviate the rush and allow for a deeper appreciation of each site. Using local transportation like the metro is often the quickest way to navigate between locations. Paris invites visitors to experience both its sprawling art institutions and intimate historical corners. Despite a fast-paced itinerary, embracing the city’s vibrant atmosphere, street life, and culinary offerings can enrich the experience further.
